Bullet open fired on Diwali night in Fatehabad, three people including girl injured

Fatehabad: On the night of Diwali, a fight broke out between two groups in Agrawal Colony of Fatehabad, Haryana. During the fight, one group entered the house of the other and attacked and opened fired in the air. A girl was shot in the hand.

Apart from the girl, her parents were also injured in the fight. They were brought to the Civil Hospital, from where they were referred to a higher center.

According to the information, this fight started over some trival matter. The police has been informed about the matter. The police have started investigating the matter.

According to the information, 45-year-old Dinkar, a resident of Agrawal Colony, was standing at a grocery store on Bhattu Road. During this time, he had a fight with a woman resident of Anjali Colony over some matter. After the fight, both of them went to their respective homes. At night, when Dinkar was with his family at his home, some people came in a car outside the house.

It is being told that the woman and two-three other youths were in the car and they came and started fighting. It has been learnt that the youths in the car fired a bullet which hit the hand of Dinkar’s daughter Chanda. Apart from Chanda, her father Dinkar and mother Moti also got injured in this incident. They were brought to the civil hospital from where they were referred.

The city police station is investigating the matter. SHO Prahlad Singh said that information about the fight was received. Further action will be taken on the basis of the statements.
