Business of pills used for intoxication increasing in Sirsa, 81900 pills and capsules recovered

As they are not covered under the NDPS Act, the accused get the benefit from the court and come out on bail.

In Kalanwali and Dabwali, bordering Punjab, tablets and capsules used as alternatives for intoxication are being recovered. The Drugs Department takes action against the accused under the Medical Act. As they are not covered under the NDPS Act, the accused get the benefit from the court and come out on bail.

In a similar action, the Kalanwali police team, on the basis of information, recovered 81900 tablets and capsules from the house of the accused Chirag Garg alias Chinki, son of Ashok Kumar Garg, resident near Ice Factory Mandi Kalanwali. These drugs are used as alternatives.

Giving detailed information in this regard, SI Sunil Kumar, in-charge of Chowki Shahar Kalanwali, said that on the basis of secret information, they raided a house in Mandi Kalanwali and recovered 32400 capsules of Pargoblin i.e. Signor and 49,500 tablets of Tapentadol in cartons from the house of the accused Chirag alias Chinki. It is illegal to keep both the medicines without a valid license and medical consultation. During this, the Drugs Inspector has prepared his report on the spot. Based on the report, the police will take further action in this case.
