Star campaigners of political parties and workers from other states will also have to go out of the state. Voting will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 7 am to 6 pm. In view of this, holidays have been declared in all government, government-aided and private schools for 2 days on October 4 and 5.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Haryana Pankaj Aggarwal has said that the polling parties for the assembly elections being held in the state will leave for the polling stations on October 4. If any anti-social elements or political parties create hindrance in the work of the polling party going on election duty due to their influence, then action will be taken against them as per the rules.

He told that if the conduct of any person inside the polling station is not right or disobeys the orders of the presiding officer, then he can be thrown out of the polling station by the police personnel deployed on duty.

This time the State Election Commission has increased the number of polling stations for the assembly elections in Haryana. In the 2019 elections, 19 thousand 812 polling stations were set up in the state. This time their number will be 20 thousand 629. The Commission has set up 817 new polling stations. Polling stations will be set up only in the societies of  cities including Gurugram, Faridabad, where there are multi-story buildings.

150 model polling stations

150 model polling stations will be set up in the assembly elections. Similarly, there will be 125 polling stations, whose command will be completely in the hands of women. That is, only women employees will be on duty at these polling stations. Women police force will also be deployed for security.
