Canter collides with parked truck in Nuh, 2 died

Both the deceased are residents of Himachal, whose relatives have reached Pingawan police station.

A canter collided with a truck (DLT) parked on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway passing through the Nuh district. The driver and assistant died on the spot. The accident happened due to the canter driver falling asleep. Both the deceased are residents of Himachal, whose relatives have reached Pingawan police station.

The accident happened on Sunday morning at around 7 am, but due to the dead bodies not being identified, the police kept the bodies of both in the hospital.

According to the information, after the accident, people took out the money as well as the papers from the pockets of both the deceased, due to which the police had difficulty in identifying both. An Isar canter with Himachal number was coming towards Delhi with bananas loaded in the vehicle. When the canter went towards Ujina from Umri bridge under Pingawan police station area, it collided with a big truck (DLT) standing on the side of the road.

The speed of the canter during the accident can be estimated from the fact that its cabin was completely shattered and the driver and assistant riding in it died on the spot. After the accident, passersby informed the control room about the incident. The police somehow took the bodies of both the deceased out of the cabin and took them to the hospital. They were kept in the hospital mortuary.
