Rewari: A car hit a scooter in Dharuhera Sector-6 of Rewari district. Three people have died in the accident. Police have seized the car and arrested the driver as well. Police have sent the bodies to Rewari mortuary for a postmortem. All three friends were going home on a scooter.
Deepak’s son Rajendra, a resident of Milkpur district, Khairkal, Rajasthan, said that his elder brother Pawan (35), who is married, has two children and was going on a scooter with his friends Surajpal and Sachin. At around 9:40 pm, near RPS School near 75 feet of road, a black Safari hit their scooter. Due to the high speed and negligence of the car driver, Pawan, Surajpal, and Sachin died on the spot.
Police said that as soon as the information was received at 9:40 pm, ASI Ravikant, constable Nitesh, SPO Rajkumar, and government driver SPO Devendra reached the spot. They took photographs there. The deceased were identified through the Aadhar card, and their families were informed. Police have assured the family that the case will be thoroughly investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprit.
