In the Narayangarh area of Ambala, Haryana, a car rider hit a bike-riding couple. The bike-riding couple got injured in the collision. The car rider fled from the spot after hitting them. On receiving the information of the incident, the police sent the injured to the Civil Hospital of Ambala, from where they were referred to a higher center.
Ambala resident Chandraprakash was going on a bike with his wife Bhavna. Meanwhile, a speeding car coming from behind hit both of them. After the collision, the car rider ran his car over his wife’s leg. Due to which her leg bone broke. After the accident, the car rider fled from the spot. After the incident, a crowd of passersby started gathering. After this, the police also reached. The police have identified the car with the help of passersby.
After the incident, the injured couple was admitted to the Civil Hospital of Narayangarh, where due to severe injuries, they have been referred to a higher center. After which the victim’s family admitted both of them to a hospital in Chandigarh.
Victim Bhavna said that as soon as the car driver hit her, she jumped and fell down. In an attempt to escape, the car driver ran the car over her. Due to which, she has fractures in four places in her leg. Doctors have asked for an operation.
