Tragic violence in Gurugram: Father-in-law beats and strangles mother of two

Murder of daughter-in-law due to suspicion of character: The father-in-law shut his mouth after beating her, and the woman kept saying, I did not do anything. 

Gurugram: A murder case of a woman under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Sector 7 of Gurugram, Haryana. Police have taken the woman’s husband and father-in-law into custody. It is being told that the father-in-law first beat his daughter-in-law with sticks and then strangled her to death.

The deceased has been identified as Amita, a resident of Sector-7 House No. 78. She is originally from Sonipat. About 8 years ago, Amita was married to Mukul Mathur, a resident of Gurugram. Currently, she is the mother of two children.

New Colony police station in-charge Rajesh Bagdi said that today at around 12:30 pm, the police received information about the murder of the woman.

After this, the police reached the spot. A woman named Amita was found dead there. Police have taken the deceased’s husband and father-in-law into custody from the spot. The real reason behind the murder will be known after an investigation. The police have informed the family of the deceased, and the body has been sent for a postmortem.
