Rohtak home robs of Rs 11 lac

Jewellery worth 5 lakhs in cash was stolen by breaking the cupboard, and the family kept sleeping in the house.

Rohtak: A case of lakhs of rupees theft has come to light in a house in village Bhaini Maharajpur in Rohtak. Unknown thieves broke into the house at night, broke the lock of the cupboard, and stole 5 lakh rupees in cash and gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. When the family learned about this, they complained about the matter to the Meham police station. The police have registered a case based on the complaint and started an investigation.

Ravikant, a resident of village Bhaini Maharajpur in Rohtak, has complained of theft at the Meham police station. In the complaint, Ravikant said that on the night of July 5, he had gone to sleep with his parents. Meanwhile, at night, an unknown person broke the wall, climbed the scaffolding, and entered his house.

Who absconded after stealing from the house? The accused broke the lock of the cupboard kept in the house and stole gold and silver jewellery and cash worth about Rs 5 lakh. At that time, the items were scattered in the room.

The victim said that when he went inside and checked the items, he found a gold chain, a necklace, 2 gold bracelets, 3 gold rings, 1 gold nose ring, a tika, 3 pairs of earrings, a silver ring, 1 silver handflower, 4 silver coins, and Rs 5 lakh cash were missing from his house.

After this, the matter was reported to the police. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police also called the fingerprint team and dog squad on the spot. Based on the complaint of the victim, the Mahem police station registered a case against the unknown accused and started an investigation.
