In Panipat, drunk man tried to enter the house of transgender, steals Rs 1 lakh

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 379 and 377 of the IPC.

Panipat: A case of rape of a transgender person living in a village in the Panipat district of Haryana has come to light. A drunk colleague entered the room. After this, he had physical relations with the transgender. After the incident, he fled with Rs 1 lakh. A complaint has been lodged with the police. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 379 and 377 of the IPC.

In the complaint given to Chandnibagh police station, Ravita (name changed) said that she is originally from Patna, Bihar. Currently, she lives in Ugra Khedi village in Panipat. She belongs to the transgender community. She goes from house to house and earns her living by singing, dancing, and begging. A boy named Ravi also used to work with her.

He came to her house in a drunken state about 20 days ago. Here, he raped her. After this, as soon as he got a chance, he snatched one lakh rupees from her. She kept searching for him at her level, but he could not be found. Now she has come to know that Ravi has fled to his village.
