Robbed in Rohtak by poses as a policeman

Two persons came and asked to go to the Civil Lines police station.

Rohtak: A case of robbing an e-rickshaw driver by posing as a policeman has come to light in Rohtak. The first two accused boarded an e-rickshaw from the railway station saying that they were going to the Civil Lines police station. After some time, the driver of the e-rickshaw was sent to get food items. The two accused fled with the e-rickshaw from behind.

The complaint of which was given to the police.

Rajkumar, a resident of Rohtak’s Old Housing Board Colony, complained to the Civil Lines police station. In which he told that he drives an e-rickshaw. He was present at the railway station on the evening of June 8.

After which Rajkumar made both of them sit in his e-rickshaw and left for the Civil Lines police station. One of them introduced himself as a policeman and the other as the accused. Both of them were talking about settling the matter about something and the person posing as a policeman was talking about settling the matter by taking money. Therefore, they made his e-rickshaw go round and round in the city.

He told that both of them took him to Sonipat stand. After which they stopped the e-rickshaw and gave money to Rajkumar and sent him to the shop to get food items. When he returned, both the accused fled with the e-rickshaw.

After which, he lodged a complaint with the police. Rajkumar told that he had taken this e-rickshaw on installments for Rs. 1 lakh 70 thousand. He used to run his livelihood by driving it. On the basis of the complaint, Civil Lines police station registered a case against unknown and started investigation.
