Dadri: A case of fraud Rs 41 lakh 50 thousand by making a fake agreement in the name of selling a house has come to light in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. A city resident has given a complaint to the SP and demanded legal action. The City Police Station has registered a case against the named person under other related sections including fraud.
In a complaint given to the SP, Naveen Mittal, a resident of Vivek Nagar, Champapuri, Charkhi Dadri city, said that a person resident of Rao Mohalla of Charkhi Dadri had made a deal to sell his 125 square yard house to him for Rs 41 lakh 50 thousand. The agreement was made on 6 December 2023. During that time he had given Rs 7 lakh 10 thousand as advance and the time for getting the registry done was fixed as 20 March 2024.
Naveen Mittal told that the said person was the tenant of his shop and after getting the agreement, he trusted him and paid the entire amount through RTGS, cheque etc. He told that when he called the said person at the appointed time to get the registry done, his phone was found switched off.
After this, when he went to his house, the family members told that he was missing since night with his other brother. Later, when he showed the agreement to his family members, they said that this house is not in his name, these are in their names and he has nothing to do with it. The complainant says that the person has cheated him by getting a wrong agreement prepared.
He had also lodged a complaint in this regard at Charkhi Dadri City Police Station on 26 April 2024, but no action was taken. He has now lodged a complaint in this regard to the Superintendent of Police Charkhi Dadri. On the basis of which the police have registered a case of fraud and started further action.
