Scam alert: Fraudsters embezzle Rs 56 lakhs promising government jobs in Jind

It was reported that individuals were promised jobs in the court but ended up being defrauded of 8 lakhs each.

Jind: A case of swindling 56 lakh rupees from 7 youths in Jind to get them government jobs in court has come to light. Police have registered a case against two people. Kawarbhan, a resident of Ram Colony, told the police that in 2017 he met Pawan Salwan at the shop of Bharat Bhushan, who has a scrap business on Handi road.

Pawan lives in Goa. Pawan told me that he has government jobs for many people. Pawan asked to gather the children, saying that he would get jobs in different courts of Haryana. He asked for eight lakh rupees to get a job for one child.

For this, he gave 56 lakh rupees at 8 lakh rupees per youth. Pawan kept giving assurances for many days. He took us to the High Court and introduced us to many people. In February 2020, he said that the High Court has become strict. Now he will get the children employed in the railways through Vishal.

Vishal got the money deposited in his account. The accused gave fake appointment letters to the children. They also got their medical done in Delhi. The youths were also kept in a Delhi hotel for four days. Later, they came to know that the railway appointment letters were fake. When he pressed for the money, the accused refused to give the money. In Kanwar Bhan’s complaint, the city police station registered a case against Pawan Salwan and Vishal under various sections, including fraud.
