Jewellery worth lakhs stolen from house in Charkhi Dadri

Son and his friend are suspected of theft; addicted to gambling and drinking alcohol. 

Charkhi Dadri: A case of theft of cash and jewellery from a house built in a field in the village Rawaldhi of the Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana has come to light. The house owner has accused his son and his friend of theft. On this basis, the police have registered a case against two named accused and started further action.

In a complaint given to the police, Indra Singh, a resident of village Rawaldhi, said that he lives in a house built in the fields. He has two sons, out of which his elder son is married and is addicted to gambling and alcohol. He told me that he had gone to the in-laws’ house of the elder son with his wife and younger son. When he returned home, the iron boxes and suitcases kept in a room in which cash and jewellery were kept were found open, and clothes were scattered.

He told me that the thieves stole 1 gold necklace, two leaves, 2 gold rings, a pair of gold ear tops, 3 pairs of silver anklets, important documents, signed promissory notes, a gold necklace and a gold drum kept in a box, and cash worth about 90 thousand rupees kept in the suitcase.

Indra Singh said that he has made full assurance at his level. The theft in his house has been committed by his elder son and his friend. He has complained about the above two in Charkhi Dadri Sadar Police Station and has demanded legal action and recovery of the stolen goods. On this basis, the police have registered a case against two named persons.
