On investigating the matter, it was found that his bike's number plate was being used fraudulently in Uttarakhand by putting it on another bike of the same company.

Panipat: A challan was issued in Uttarakhand for a fake number plate of a bike from Panipat in Haryana. This came to light when the real owner, sitting at his shop in Panipat, received a message on his mobile. He was surprised to receive the message. After this, he checked the challan. In which he got information about a challan being issued in Uttarakhand for his bike’s number.

After this, he contacted the Uttarakhand police. As soon as this was known, the Uttarakhand Police also came into action. Because the bike owner even told the Uttarakhand Police that he had never been to Uttarakhand.

Praveen, a resident of Desraj Colony in Panipat, while giving information, said that the number of his motorcycle is HR06AT1236. The bike is in the name of his wife, Pooja. Two days ago, a message from the Uttarakhand RTO came on his mobile.

When he opened the message, he found that a challan of Rs 1500 had been issued on his bike’s number. Also, there was a photo of a bike in the online camera, whose number plate was exactly like his bike. The man and woman riding the bike in the photo are not even his relatives.

On investigating the matter, it was found that his bike’s number plate was being used fraudulently in Uttarakhand by putting it on another bike of the same company. He informed the Uttarakhand RTO about the entire matter and demanded the cancellation of the challan. On-demand, his challan was also cancelled.

The bike on which the fake number plate is installed has not been traced yet. It is suspected that the stolen bike is being used in Uttarakhand by putting fake numbers on it. The victim, Praveen, has demanded strict action against the accused in the entire matter. He also complained about the matter to the traffic DSP in Panipat. But he has refused to take action in the matter, saying that the entire matter is in Uttarakhand.
