Rewari: CM Flying raided the yard, smugglers fled after throwing stolen petrol, and the and the driver arrested.
The team of the Chief Minister Flying Squad (CM Flying) has busted the game of oil theft from tankers coming out of the oil depot in Rewari district of Haryana. CM Flying raided the enclosure along with the team of the Food and Supply Department. During this, the smugglers who stole the oil fled after throwing buckets of stolen oil on the ground.
However, the team has arrested the tanker driver and another person on the spot. Both have been handed over to the Model Town police station.
According to the information received, the team of Inspector Satendra Singh of CM Flying received information that oil was stolen from the tankers of petrol and diesel coming out of the oil depot near village Karnawas on Bawal Road. The tanker is taken to the enclosures built around the depot, and the oil is taken out after making a deal with the driver. After getting concrete information, the team of CM Flying informed the team of the Food and Supply Department. Inspector Mukesh Kumar from the Food and Supplies Department reached the spot, and then both teams jointly raided the enclosure built in an empty plot near the oil depot in Karnawas.
During this time, petrol was being taken out of an oil tanker and filled in buckets. About 4 buckets had been filled. As soon as the team raided the spot, the accused threw the stolen oil from the tanker on the ground. After this, the accused fled from the spot.
However, the team caught the driver of the tanker and another accused on the spot. On interrogating both of them, it was found that this stolen oil is supplied in Rajasthan. The team took possession of the oil-filled tanker from the spot and handed over both accused to the Model Town police station. Also, the CM Flying Team has lodged a complaint. The police are engaged in the process of registering a case.
