Palwal: On the auspicious occasion of Gopashtami, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal reached the Gau Seva Dham complex located in Hodal area of Palwal district and worshiped the cow and laid the foundation stone of the multi-storey Gau Seva Hospital. While observing the arrangements of Gau Seva Dham, the Chief Minister worshiped Cow and wished for the prosperity, healthy and happy life of every citizen of the state.
During the Bhoomi Pujan program, the Chief Minister appreciated the responsibility being performed by Devi Chitralekha, the founder of Gau Seva Dham, in such a charitable work. The Chief Minister expressed happiness that he got the opportunity to visit Gau Seva Dham, hence he considers himself blessed. He praised Devi Chitralekha for running Gau Seva Dham and announced to donate Rs 21 lakh from his own funds to Seva Dham.
He said that a good law has been made for the protection and promotion of cow progeny. That strong law is being praised in the country today. He said that institutions related to cow service always run with mutual cooperation, for which every citizen should come forward and extend a helping hand. He said that there is no other service greater than cow service. Every citizen should take out some part of his good earnings and spend it on cow service. Donating for cows never reduces wealth, rather it brings prosperity and happiness in the house, said CM.
