The caller said that he was calling from DHL Mumbai and a parcel was being sent with your Aadhaar number. Which has been caught by the Customs Department. He was asked to make an online complaint in Cyber Crime Mumbai.
The complainant said that, after this, my call was transferred to Cyber Crime. The fraudster said that Cyber Crime is calling from Mumbai and your Aadhaar card is being used illegally. Apart from this, some illegal transactions are also being done. After this, he was asked to make an online or offline complaint in Andheri West Mumbai.
Fraudster did a WhatsApp call, and afterwards, the Lieutenant saw a person in uniform on the screen.
Lieutenant Colonel Sanjay Singh said, later he turned off the camera from his side and asked me to complain. After this, he asked me to file a complaint online. He threatened me that the parcel have received was illegal and illegal transactions were also being done from my Aadhar card. He told me that my bank account would have to be checked for illegal transactions happening from it. For this, you will have to give the details of your bank account. After this, two transactions of 50 thousand rupees each were done twice.
