Sonipat: The preparations for the municipal corporation mayor elections in Haryana have intensified and this time the Congress party has entered the fray with full strategy and enthusiasm. Congress’ Sonipat election co-incharge Jitendra Baghel claimed that the party is contesting the elections on its symbol after a long time and tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the workers.
He said that this time Congress will win in all the wards and will also win the post of Mayor. Jitendra Baghel said that this time Congress has selected its candidates keeping in mind the caste and social equations.
The party has given tickets keeping in mind the influence of every community so that every section can get representation. Congress has done this experiment in Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat. He expressed confidence that this strategy will strengthen the Congress and the leadership ability of the party candidates will be proved.
Emphasis on state organization, effect will be seen soon
On being asked about the state organization, Jitendra Baghel said that the Congress party is putting in all its efforts to strengthen the organization. He said that in the next two to three months, the outline of the organization will become clear and the party will benefit from it in the upcoming elections. However, he also admitted that for years the Congress has not been able to build the organization properly, due to which the party suffered losses in many elections.
Claim on the strength of Congress in the elections
Jitendra Baghel said that this time Congress is contesting the elections with full preparation and all efforts have been made to win every seat. While instilling enthusiasm among the workers, he said that this election will prove to be a new chapter for the Congress and the party will perform brilliantly.
The election atmosphere in Sonipat has started heating up and the Congress is standing firm in the field with its strategy. Now it remains to be seen how effective the party’s game of social engineering and caste equations proves to be.
Committee formed for mayor by-election
Campaign Committee – Chandra Baghel said that the committee has been formed as the Campaign Committee. Former Sonipat MLA K Surendra Pawar has been made the chairman of the committee.
Media Committee – A second media committee has been formed. Anand Dahiya has been made its president.
Legal Committee – Prem Atri has been made the chairman of the legal committee. He will handle any kind of legal action. Jitendra Baghel has said that he is a senior advocate, so he has been given the responsibility.
Social Media Committee – Former candidate in the assembly elections Jai Bhagwan Antil has been given the responsibility of social media.
Manifesto Committee – Jitendra Baghel has said that a list of local problems will be made under Sonipat Corporation. And if he becomes the mayor, then how to solve their problems in future. A manifesto committee has been formed for the same. Rajiv Sharma has been made its in-charge.
Office Operations Committee – In the by-election, the responsibility of the office has been given to Prem Gupta and it has been placed as the seventh committee.
