After the complaint of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, cyber experts have closed the fake portal for CET application. Cyber experts started working on this on Thursday itself, and on Friday, the fake portal was completely closed.
Now the IP address of this portal is not coming up in the search. If someone searches on the fake portal, then only the link of the official portal of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission is shown. Police can disclose the fake portal case today.
According to the police, the fraudsters had created a fake website of CET on May 29. During registration, the fraudsters took some important information from the students and deposited the fee, and showed the registration.
Haryana Staff Selection Commission member Bhupendra Chauhan said that the commission came to know that some cyber criminals have prepared a fake website. Taking cognizance of the complaints of some applicants, the commission lodged a complaint at the cyber police station located in Sector-20.
