“Cyber scam fraudsters swindle Rs 75,000 in Bhiwani “

Bhiwani: Cyber fraudsters robbed Rs 75,654 in the name of refunding the credit card annual fee by posing as bank officials in Bhiwani, Haryana. A case has been registered in the cyber police station on the complaint of the matter.

Naria, a resident of Hanuman Gate, Bhiwani, told me that he received a call on his mobile on June 26. The caller introduced himself as a bank officer and said that the annual fee for the credit card had to be refunded. He told him that the bank had reduced its annual fee. Then he said that we would get your remaining annual fee refunded as well; you have to go to your app and turn off the option of an annual fee.

Naria said that he disconnected the phone after telling him not to do so. After this, he received a WhatsApp call and said the same thing. During this time, OTPs started coming on my mobile number, and many OTPs of different amounts came from my credit card number.

Cyber thugs committed fraud of Rs 75,654 from the credit card. He complained about the matter at the cyber police station. The police investigated the matter. The police have registered a case of cybercrime.
