Panipat: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has declared the result late on Tuesday night. In this, Panipat girl Shivani Panchal has brought laurels to the district by securing first position in BCA category. Shivani has been appointed to the post of SDM.
3 seats have been given by the Public Service Commission for Haryana Civil Services. Shivani stood first in BC-A category. One post was given for General category and one post was for EWS (Economy Weaker Section) category.
Uncle took care and taught her after father’s death
Shivani’s uncle Naresh, a resident of Bhodwal Majri village of Panipat, says that as soon as Shivani and family came to know after the list was out, happiness spread in the whole family. Neighbors also started congratulating. After some time, we received a lot of congratulations on phone too.
Naresh Kumar tells that Shivani’s father Dilbagh Singh died in 2005. Shivani passed 12th from Samalkha itself. After that she passed B.Tech Civil Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra.
After this Shivani got a job as an engineer in JSW company located in Bawal, but Shivani had a different dream. Shivani again decided to study and gave the Haryana Public Service Commission exam, after which she becomes SDM.
Mother works in Anganwadi
Shivani has a brother Vansh who is currently preparing for the NET exam. Shivani’s mother works in Anganwadi in the village. Both uncle Dinesh and Naresh paid full attention to Shivani’s studies.
Shivani told that after her father, both uncles and mother struggled for her. Today she is at this position due to that struggle. Now her dream is to serve the country by passing the UPSC exam.
