Sonipat: Three armed miscreants looted Rs 1.68 lakh cash and mobile phones at gunpoint at the Flipkart Delivery Hub located at Jeevan Vihar in Sonipat, Haryana. Local police and forensic team reached the spot. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Sunil Kumar, a resident of Kumaspur village in Sonipat, who is in-charge of the Flipkart delivery hub located behind the Gazal Hotel, told the police in his complaint that on April 13, at around 8:30 am, three youths came to the hub. All of them had pistols in their hands. The miscreants directly entered the cash room, where team leader Mohit was sitting at the cash counter. The accused pointed pistols at Mohit and other employees and looted about 1 lakh 68 thousand rupees kept in the counter.
The complainant said that along with cash, the miscreants also looted the mobile phones of three employees. The stolen phones include Ravi’s Oppo company phone, Pradeep’s Samsung Galaxy M11 and Gaurav’s Oppo Reno 10.
Police registered a case
On receiving the information of the incident through the control room, ASI Vikas reached the spot with the police team. Considering the seriousness of the case, the police have registered an FIR. A special report of the incident has been sent to the higher authorities through e-mail. The crime scene team has also been called to the spot.
