Digvijay Chautala met Haryana Governor, raised the issue of HAU

Youth President of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Digvijay Chautala met Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and informed him about the lathi charge incident on the students.

The dispute between the students and the administration at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) in Hisar has now reached the Raj Bhavan. Youth President of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Digvijay Chautala met Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and informed him about the lathi charge incident on the students.

Digvijay demanded from the Governor that the Vice Chancellor of HAU should be removed from the post and action should be taken against the culprits, because only filing an FIR is not enough.

The JJP leader said that he had met the Governor along with the student representatives and he is confident that the Governor will get the matter investigated and take action. He also said that the students have boycotted the examinations, so justice should be done to them.

Security guards lathi-charged the students outside the Vice Chancellor (VC) residence at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University in Hisar, Haryana late on Tuesday, June 10. More than 20 students were injured in this. 6 students were seriously injured and were admitted to the Civil Hospital.
