In Bahadurgarh’s Asanda village, a quarrel broke out between the Sarpanch and a family over installing a transformer outside the house. It is alleged that during the quarrel, Sarpanch Sandeep fired in the air and injured a villager by hitting him on the head with the butt of the pistol. The injured has been admitted to the Civil Hospital of Bahadurgarh. Angry villagers blocked the road due to this incident. When the police got the information, they reached the spot and got the jam cleared after convincing the villagers. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
Asanda village resident Satyawan said that he has a house on the fringe of the village. Recently, illegal encroachments were removed by the administration from Shirdi. After removing the illegal encroachments, the transformer installed on the Firni came in the middle of the street. Satyawan alleges that the village Sarpanch Sandeep was getting a transformer installed outside his house on Saturday morning with the electricity department team.
When he opposed this, the Sarpanch got furious and took out the pistol and hit him on the head with its butt. He got injured due to this. Satyawan alleges that after firing the butt of the pistol, the Sarpanch also fired in the air to spread terror. After this the Sarpanch fled from the spot. The villagers also blocked the road.
