Panipat: In the village Gadhi Bhalore of Panipat district of Haryana, a person committed suicide by drinking pesticide after getting upset with his elder brother. Actually, there was a dispute between the two regarding land division. The elder brother was not getting the land that came in the deceased’s share registered in his name. Due to this, he committed suicide. The deceased’s wife has complained about the matter to the police. The police have registered a case based on the complaint.
In the complaint given to the Bapoli police station, Babita said that she is a resident of the village of Gadhi Bhalore. She is the mother of two daughters and a son. Her husband Monu and brother-in-law Sompal alias Sonu were having a dispute over the division of domestic land. Panchayat was also held several times in this regard.
In which Sonu had asked for time to get the land registered in Monu’s name, but later he refused. Now brother-in-law Sonu had even threatened several times and said about not getting the land registered in his name. Due to all these things, Monu got fed up with his elder brother Sonu and on 22 December, he drank the grass killer Round Up kept in the house.
For which he was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. After treatment, he was brought home. But when his health deteriorated again, he was taken to a private hospital in Karnal on 4 January. Where he died during treatment on 13 January.
