Ambala: A doctor who had gone to celebrate his brother’s birthday with his friends in Ambala, Haryana, was attacked by boys from his college. Two MBBS intern doctors have been injured in the attack. The police have registered a case against the accused after recording the statements of the victims.
Akshit, a resident of Sector-19, Kaithal, said that he is doing an MBBS internship at Adesh Medical College. His younger brother Ayush’s birthday was on July 18. He, along with his friends Abhishek, Ankush, and Sahil, had gone to NDI Plaza Mohra to have dinner from Adesh Medical at 12:20 pm in different vehicles. On the way, four youths were found in a Polo car. While overtaking, they first made obscene gestures towards him. The Polo car stopped at NDI Plaza.
After that, his friends Sahil and Ankush brought him to Adesh Medical College Mohri in an unconscious state. After getting the information, his family members also reached there and brought him to Fortis Hospital Mohali for treatment. His friend Abhishek was already admitted here. The police have registered a case against the accused and started further action.
