In Hisar, doctors of the government hospital went on a 2-hour strike on Saturday in protest against the suspension of Dr. Prabhu Dayal, nodal officer of the PNDT department of the Health Department. The doctors of the civil hospital went on strike for 2 hours from 10 am to 12 noon on the call of Haryana Civil Medical Services Association.
During this, the doctors gathered in front of the CMO office of the civil hospital and protested against the suspension of Dr. Prabhu Dayal. They said that under the leadership of Dr. Prabhu Dayal, the sex ratio in Hisar has increased. In the year 2015, the sex ratio was 886, but now it has increased to 916.
Due to the strike, patients had to face trouble. In the civil hospital, there was a crowd of patients in the Ophthalmology Department, Gynecology and Physician OPD. Apart from this, there was a crowd of patients in other OPDs, however, in the children’s OPD and other OPDs where NHM doctors were present, the doctors examined the patients there. Due to the strike, patients had to wait.
It is noteworthy that the nodal officer of the PNDT department of the Civil Hospital, Dr. Prabhu Dayal has been suspended by the Additional Chief Secretary. This has been done after a recent sting operation in the Civil Hospital. An investigation has also been initiated by the department in the matter.
