Police conducted Operation in Palwal: 48 accused involved in various cases arrest

SP Chandramohan said that there is no place for criminals in the district.

Palwal: During Operation Aakram-12 conducted in Palwal on Saturday, the police arrested 48 accused involved in various cases. In this operation, 188 police officers and employees posted in 47 teams of police from three CIA police stations and outposts cooperated. Along with this, 16 accused were arrested in 16 cases of illegal liquor, and 72 bottles and two litres of raw liquor were recovered from their possession.

SP Chandramohan said that there is no place for criminals in the district; criminals should either leave the district or leave crime. He said that criminals will not be spared at any cost. The general public should give information regarding crime on number 112; their name and address will be kept secret.

SP Chandra Mohan said that under Operation Aakram-12, the district police arrested two accused in two cases of gambling. An amount of Rs. 3640 was recovered from them. One accused was arrested with the illegal drug ganja, two accused were arrested in two cases of illegal weapons, and two illegal country-made pistols were recovered from their possession. Along with this, absconding accused were also arrested.

The police have arrested a youth on the charge of keeping a stolen bike. Apart from this, police teams have arrested 22 accused who were absconding in cases registered in various police stations and recovered two country-made pistols and a knife from their possession. While the traffic police also challenged 321 vehicles moving in the wrong direction, The district police have started the action by registering cases against the accused caught in all the cases under various sections, including keeping illegal weapons, gambling and serving, and keeping illegal liquor.
