New Delhi: During the monsoon session, BJP MPs from Haryana met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from the five Lok Sabha MPs, three Rajya Sabha MPs are also included in the meeting. The MPs have discussed various issues with the Prime Minister.
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Rao Indrajit Singh were seen together in this meeting held in the Parliament House complex. The MPs discussed various issues related to the country and Haryana with the Prime Minister. After this meeting, Kartikeya Sharma, who became an MP with the support of Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the BJP, also posted on X.
The PM has held this meeting as part of the process of communication with the MPs. PM Modi has been meeting MPs from different states during the session. This time, the BJP has lost five out of 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.
Manohar Lal from Karnal, Rao Inderjit Singh from Gurugram, Krishan Pal Gurjar from Faridabad, Chaudhary Dharambir from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, and Naveen Jindal from Kurukshetra were the only candidates who won, while five candidates lost the election. Apart from these five Lok Sabha MPs, Rajya Sabha MPs from Haryana, Subhash Barala, Krishan Lal Panwar, and Kartikeya Sharma, who became Rajya Sabha MPs with the support of the BJP, were present during the meeting with the Prime Minister.
After meeting the PM, Kartikeya Sharma posted a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). In this, he wrote, ‘Today in Parliament House, I met the pioneer of the ‘Developed India’ resolution, the successful Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi ji with the Haryana BJP Parliamentary Party, and got guidance’.
In the same post, he further wrote that Prime Minister Ji, who is always determined for the overall development of Haryana, gave us his valuable time. I am heartily grateful to him for this.
Manohar Lal, a Karnal MP and Union Cabinet Minister, also posted a similar message. He wrote on X: Today in Parliament House, I met the Prime Minister with the Haryana BJP Parliamentary Party. I received his guidance on various subjects.
Assembly elections are to be held in Haryana by October this year. In such a situation, election preparations have started. Home Minister Amit Shah has visited Haryana twice within 18 days. On July 16, Amit Shah attended the provincial conference of the OBC in Mahendragarh.
Sensing the loss in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has started preparations before the assembly elections. The BJP has been in power in Haryana for two consecutive terms. To score a hattrick of victory, the top leadership of the BJP is focused on Haryana.
