Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated in Ambala peacefully amid festive spirit

Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated peacefully in Ambala, Haryana. People gathered in all the major mosques of the city since morning to offer prayers. During the prayers, people prayed for peace and tranquility in the country.

Eid prayers were offered in the main Masjid Tawakkal Shah (Jama Masjid), Masjid Lakhi Shah, Mecca Masjid, Masjid Idgah, Masjid Kachhari, Jandali Masjid, Badshahi Masjid, Railway Road Masjid in Ambala city.

On this occasion, the District President of Anjuman Islahul Muslimeen Society, Syed Ahmed Khan, said that Islamic festivals bring the message of service to humanity and make the society clean. Syed Ahmed Khan said that Muslims observe fast for a month before the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr. Which is a great penance. It gives the reward of fasting in the form of Eid on behalf of Allah Taala. Syed Khan said that Islam has given the message of human friendship to create sympathy in the society.

Eid ul Fitr prayers were offered in the main mosques of the district in Ambala. After which people hugged each other and wished each other Eid Mubarak. During this, prayers were offered from the mosques of Ambala for peace and harmony in the country. Along with this, prayers were also offered for brotherhood in the society.

Syed Ahmed Khan said that the festival of Eid will be meaningful in the true sense only when we forget our mutual enmity and embrace everyone on this day and end the distances of high and low, poor and rich. He said that eating sweet vermicelli on the festival of Eid fills sweetness in both the tongue and the heart. He said that along with Eid, the festival of Navratri is also going on. Which gives the message of living with brotherhood to all the people of the society. Syed Ahmed Khan wished everyone Eid as well as Navratri.
