Kaithal: The nomination process for the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) elections is going on in full swing. Saturday is the last day to file nominations. So far, four candidates have filed their nominations from Kangthali ward number 21 at the Sewan BDPO office. Gurmeet Kamboj, Gajjan Singh, Jarnail Singh, Harbhajan Singh have filed their nomination papers to contest the elections from this ward. After the completion of the nomination process, election symbols will be allotted to the candidates on January 2.
According to the Election Commission, election symbols will be allotted to the candidates on January 3. The voting process will take place on January 19 and this time voting will be done through EVM (Electronic Voting Machine). All necessary preparations have been completed to make the elections fair and transparent. This election is being considered important for the religious and administrative rights of the Sikh community.
