Ambala : Police has exposed the case of making fake cosmetics making factory near Mohra Gaushala in Ambala, Haryana. Police has recovered 5 machines, drums of raw material and huge quantity of Fair in Lovely, Sansilk, Dove, Dabur paste and other fake goods from the spot. When the police raided the factory, 5 female employees were found working there.
After which the police interrogated them. Giving information, Hindustan Unilever’s Delhi-based manager Rajesh and Manoj said that they had received information that fake goods of their company were being made here and sold in the market. After which they informed the Ambala police.
When they reached the factory with the CIA 2 team on Wednesday evening, huge amount of raw material and wrappers, machines etc. of their companies were recovered from the spot.
Honey and Chyawanprash were being prepared
Rajesh Kumar told that major products of multinational companies like shampoo, cream, Glucon D, Chyawanprash, honey etc. were prepared here. He was getting information about this for a long time. Many complaints were reaching him regarding fake products. When he investigated, this was revealed.
Supply was to be made in other states including Haryana
CIA 2 in-charge Naresh Kumar told that the way fake products and raw material of renowned companies have been found in the factory, it seems that this material was being supplied not only in Haryana but also in other states. Police is investigating every aspect of this matter thoroughly.
Products found in these companies
Naresh Kumar told that when the police raided the factory, a large quantity of goods ready for supply was found in cartons worth lakhs. In which products like Sansilk Shampoo, Clinic Plus Shampoo, Dove Shampoo, Tresemme Shampoo, Fair and Lovely, Ponds Cream, Dabur Red Company’s toothpaste, Glucon D, Nivea Cream, Odomos Protect, Dabur Chyavanprash, Vaseline etc. were found.
Lakmé Company’s Kajal etc. were also found. Police has registered a case on the basis of complaint of company officials and has started investigation of the case by confiscating all the items.
