Family feud took a bloody turn in village Nahla of Bhuna block of Fatehabad. Younger brother Satveer Singh killed his elder brother 65-year-old Raghuveer Singh alias Rodu by hitting him on the head with a stick. As soon as the incident was reported, Bhuna police reached the spot and the body was taken to Community Health Center (CHC) Bhuna.
According to the information, a family dispute was going on between Raghuveer Singh and Satveer Singh for a long time. On Wednesday, this dispute escalated so much that first there was an altercation between the two brothers, which later turned into a scuffle.
In anger, Satveer Singh hit Raghuveer Singh on the head with a stick lying nearby, due to which he fell on the ground and died on the spot.
Bhuna police station in-charge Surendra said that the police have registered a case and started investigation. Statements of the family members will be recorded, after which the exact reasons of the dispute will be ascertained. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
This incident has created a sensation in the village and there is a wave of mourning in the family.
