Faridabad: After collision with bike Car catches fire on Delhi-Vadodara Expressway

In Faridabad, a car caught fire after being hit by a bike on the service road of Delhi Vadodara Expressway on Sunday night. The driver immediately got out of the car as soon as the fire broke out, which saved his life. However, the bike rider was injured due to the car collision. After the incident, the driver of the car fled from there.

The accident happened on the way from Sector 8 to Sector 12. The entire incident was captured in CCTV camera. The car was completely burnt due to the fire. Later the fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and controlled the fire.

Eyewitness Shanu said that the Creta car collided with the bike while hitting the grill of the service line. After this, the bike was dragged and the car went ahead and turned. Then petrol came out of the bike’s tank and the car caught fire. Before that, the driver of the car had got out.

5 minutes after the collision, a person came on a bike and took the driver of the car with him on the bike, and went away.

After the car caught fire, people around started making videos. The fire brigade was also informed. The fire brigade vehicle arrived after about 20 minutes. By then the fire had engulfed the entire car. However, the fire was later brought under control.
