Hisar Police has arrested six people spying for Pakistan. This includes YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and her five associates. Jyoti has been arrested from New Agrasen Extension in Hisar. Jyoti runs her YouTube channel named Travel with Joe.
Jyoti told the police that she had gone to the Pakistan High Commission in 2023 to get a visa. There she met Ahsan ur Rahim alias Danish. She took Danish’s mobile number. Both of them started talking. After that she traveled to Pakistan twice.
Jyoti told that in Pakistan, on the advice of Ahsan ur Rahim, she met his acquaintance Ali Ahwan. Ali Ahwan made arrangements for her travel and stay. Ali Ahwan arranged her meeting with Pakistani intelligence and security officials.
This is how she used to deliver anti-national information
Jyoti told that she also met Rana Shahbaz and Shakir. She also took Shakir’s mobile number and saved it in her mobile with the name of Jat Randhawa so that no one would suspect. After coming back to India, she started staying in touch with those people through WhatsApp, Snap Chat, Telegram. She started sending anti-national information to them.
Jyoti told during interrogation that she is also in touch with Pakistani intelligence operatives. Let us tell you that Ahsan ur Rahim alias Danish has been declared person non grata by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India on charges of espionage. Jyoti has also been declared person non grata. She has been arrested. She will be produced in court on Saturday afternoon.
