Fire breaks out at Polymer factory in Sonipat

. The reasons for the fire in the factory have not been ascertained yet

A sudden fire broke out late at night at Krishna Polymers located on Saidpur Road in Kharkhoda block of Sonipat. The fire brigade was immediately informed about the fire. Seeing the intensity of the fire, nine vehicles arrived from different places of the district and started efforts to control the fire. The fire brigade personnel controlled the fire after about five hours of hard work.

A sudden fire broke out at Krishna Polymers located on Saidpur Road at around 1.30 am late at night. The workers working there started efforts to control the fire, but the fire kept blazing. After which the fire brigade personnel were informed. Seeing the magnitude of the fire, nine fire brigade vehicles from Sonipat, Badi Industrial Area, Rai and Kundli reached to control the fire. The fire brigade personnel kept working hard throughout the night and trying to control the fire. The fire could be controlled at around six o’clock on Friday morning. The reasons for the fire in the factory have not been ascertained yet.

The workers said that the raw material of powder coating i.e. dry paint is made in the factory. In which chemicals are also used. It is being told that a fire broke out in the factory at around 11.30 pm on Thursday night. The fire brigade was informed about it. However, the workers working there had controlled the fire before the fire brigade personnel arrived, after which the fire brigade vehicle was sent back from the middle of the way. Late night around 1.30 am the fire flared up again and due to the presence of chemicals, it kept increasing rapidly.
