Agroha: A fire has broken out in 125 acres of forest spread over a historic mound in Agroha, Haryana. The fire broke out when the Archaeological Department was carrying out excavation work on the historic mound. The administration and fire department have been informed about the fire and help is also being sought from nearby villages.
Relief and rescue workers are busy extinguishing the fire. Due to strong winds, there is difficulty in extinguishing the fire. If the fire is not controlled in time, it can reach the nearby medical college and temple complex, which can cause a lot of loss of life and property.
Agroha police station in-charge says that fire brigade vehicles are on the spot, but fire engines are unable to reach the accident site. Announcements have been made in the nearby villages. All the villagers are reaching the mound with water in tankers on tractors so that the fire can be controlled.

The administration does not have any means to extinguish the fire on the mound. Therefore, a team of villagers is engaged in extinguishing the fire by pouring soil in trays. The student group of Noida Institute engaged in digging has been sent to their hostel. The fire brigade vehicle is looking for nearby routes to reach there. There was only one direct way to reach the mound and due to its steep climb, the fire brigade vehicle is unable to reach the top.
