Farmer Sunil Sharma said that this fire started in Muzaffarpur village at around 9:00 am, and due to strong winds, this fire spread to about 100 acres of area. The fire brigade personnel, who reached the spot after getting information about the fire, controlled the fire with two vehicles. However, a lot of difficulties were faced in controlling the fire.
According to the fire personnel who reached the spot, this fire is suspected to have started from electric wires. However, now the cause of the fire will also be investigated in this case. Only after this will something be clear. He told that electricity lines are passing at a very low level near the fields. This could be the main reason due to which the fire started.
According to DFO Pankaj Parashar, on receiving information about the fire, two fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the spot. The fire was brought under control in 3 hours. The biggest problem in extinguishing the fire was due to the strong wind. Due to strong winds, the fire was spreading far and wide. But still, the fire was brought under control due to the wisdom of the fire brigade personnel. He has said that many farmers of both the villages have suffered a loss of thousands of rupees due to this.
