Kurukshetra : A fire broke out in the slums located in the theme park adjacent to Gurudwara Chhathi Patshahi in Kurukshetra on Tuesday morning, due to which about 10 slums destructed to ashes.
On receiving information about the fire, two vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and the personnel worked hard to control the fire.
It was fortunate that the people living in the slums came out as soon as the fire broke out and no casualties reported . At the same time, the fire took a huge form within a few seconds. Didn’t even get a chance to save the stuff. Short circuit is believed to be the cause of the fire.
The fire broke out in such a way within a few moments that the people living in the slums did not get a chance to take out their belongings. All the stuff has been burnt to ashes.
Initial Investigation suggests that this happened because of short circuit as heavy duty wires are passing from above the slums from which sparking cause fire to engulf this much.
