Kurukshetra: A voilent incident occured at the ongoing 1008 Kundiya Shiv Shakti Maha Yagya being held at Keshav Park, Kurukshetra, when Brahmins attending the event were fired upon by security guards after protesting over the quality of food provided. The Incident, which left one Brahmin injured, has sparked widespread anger among the attendees, leading to road blockages and chaos in the area.
According to reports, the incident unfolded around 9:30 AM on Saturday when Brahmins, who had traveled from across the country to attend the Maha Yagya, voiced their objection to being served stale food. The protests escalated into a heated argument, after which bouncers employed by the Yagya organisers opened fire. Ashish Tiwari, a participant from Lucknow, was shot and subsequently rushed to LNJP hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
Angry Brahmins blocked the road in front of the theme park. Police reached the spot after getting information. Police is currently investigating the matter. Brahmins allege that they were being given stale food.

The police arrived on the information and lathicharged the agitating Brahmins and dispersed them. However, a large number of Brahmins are still gathered on the streets. They are demanding action against the bouncers. The Brahmins allege that from the very first day, Baba’s security guards (bouncers) were harassing them for one thing or the other. They would beat up anyone at any time. If anyone was seen roaming around, they would slap or hit him with a stick.
The gate of the yagyashala was broken and vehicles were forcibly stopped.
The angry Brahmins created a ruckus on the road in front of the park and also broke the gate of the Yagyashaala. Apart from this, they also stopped the passenger vehicles passing by, buses etc. Some drivers tried to leave, but they were turned back by showing them sticks. People travelling in vehicles faced problems due to this ruckus on the road.
