First bus for Mahakumbh to depart from Kurukshetra today

Kurukshetra: In Kurukshetra, Haryana Roadways will run a special bus for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela. This bus will run from the new bus stand of Kurukshetra every day at around 2 pm. Kurukshetra: In Kurukshetra, Haryana Roadways will run a special bus for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela. This bus will run from the new bus stand of Kurukshetra every day at around 2 pm. Today, Suman Saini, Vice President of Haryana Child Welfare Council and wife of CM Nayab Saini, will flag off this bus from Ladwa. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the pilgrims due to the bus running for Kumbh.

According to the information, the roadways bus will reach Prayagraj the next day after travelling for more than 13 hours. The distance from Kurukshetra to Prayagraj is about 835 km. The department has fixed the fare from Kurukshetra to Prayagraj at Rs 1160. The department is claiming to provide all the facilities to the passengers.

The bus will go to Prayagraj every day

The first bus will leave for Prayagraj today. This bus will reach Prayagraj tomorrow morning. After stopping here for some time, it will leave for Kurukshetra and will reach Kurukshetra by the next day. One bus will take 3 days on the Kurukshetra-Prayagraj route. So that the route does not get closed, the department has planned to put 2 buses on the route.

Aadhaar and Happy Card will also work

In this bus, passengers will be given all the facilities provided by the department. Happy Card will also be used in the bus. According to this card, people of Haryana state can travel free in roadways buses for up to 1 thousand kilometers. Senior citizens will be able to travel in this bus at half the fare by showing their Aadhar card.

1 month tax paid

Roadways GM Sher Singh said that Prayagraj Mela will continue for the entire month of February, in which buses will leave for the fair from the depot every day. The department has paid the state transport tax for one month. If passengers remain on the route, the bus will continue to run. On the closure of the Mohali route, he said that passengers will not be allowed to face any inconvenience on this route and neither will the route be closed.
