In Kaithal, five accused entered a house and attacked the members of a family with sticks, rods, and axes. The accused hit an axe on the head of a person, due to which he was seriously injured. He was referred to PGI Chandigarh. Police have now registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim.
Sukhwinder, a resident of Arjun Nagar Kaithal, complained in the city police station that his neighbors Satyanarayan and Charanjit have an old rivalry with him. On January 29, he was at home with his family. At around 7:45 pm, Satyanarayan, Charanjit, Kusum, Abhishek and Deepak entered his house with sticks, rods, and axe.
When he asked the accused to go out, Abhishek hit him with axe on his head. Due to this, he fell on the ground. Later he was beaten with skicks. In this attack, his family was also beaten.
When his family raised an alarm, the accused threatened to kill him and his family and fled waving weapons. The family admitted him to a government hospital, from where he was referred to PGI Chandigarh.
The complainant said that the accused attacked him with the intention to killing him. City police station in-charge Geeta said that the police have registered a case against the accused. The matter is being investigated. Further action will be taken on the basis of the investigation.
