Travelling on highways and expressways will become expensive from Monday

Toll rates increased by 8% on the Kherki Daula toll and 5% on Mumbai Expressway, Rs 10 more will have to be paid to go to Sohna.

Haryana: From Monday, travelling on Delhi-Jaipur highway and expressway will become expensive. Travelling from Gurugram to Rewari and Jaipur will also become expensive. To go to Jaipur via Sohna-Nuh-Alwar or Delhi Mumbai Expressway, one will have to pay extra toll.

Although the increased toll was to be implemented from April 1, in view of the elections, the National Highway Authority had postponed it. Now it will be implemented from Monday.

Different rates have been fixed on highways and different expressways.

The most expensive journey will be on Sohna Highway. Rs 125 will be charged as a toll for one-way travel by car. Toll of this expressway will also be added to Rs 125 for travelling on Mumbai Expressway. Toll rates have been fixed according to different distances.

Car riders will have to pay five rupees more than before at Kherki Daula toll. NHAI has increased the toll rates as per the National Road Fee Regulations 2008. Within Gurugram limits, there are toll plazas at Kherki Daula on Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Ghamdooj on Gurugram-Sohna Highway and Hilalpur after Alipur on Mumbai Expressway.
