Chandigarh: The government has given a big relief to the candidates who missed the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) in the Haryana Police recruitment. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has given such candidates a chance for PMT; the commission has released a reschedule regarding this.
Candidates who were absent in the PMT exam will now be able to get their PMT test done on 29th July (male) and 30th July (female) at 6.30 am at Devi Chaudharylal Stadium, Panchkula. Commission Chairman Himmat Singh said that PMT is being conducted through digital display monitors. Earlier, this process was done manually; there was a possibility of error in it. Now there is no such possibility.
The schedule of PMT for the recruitment of 6 thousand constables (male and female) in Haryana was released two weeks ago. The height, weight, and chest measurements of the candidates were taken at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula from 16 to 23 July.
This time, photographs of every candidate have been taken in PMT, and videography has also been done. A police team was also present to prevent fraud and irregularities. Permission will be given only after biometrics and eye scans. The entire process will be photographed, and videography has also been done.
Candidates will have to bring Aadhaar card or driving license, passport, voter card with photo, original document of address proof, and admit card with QR code or admit card with photo downloaded from the commission’s website. Do not bring mobile phones, electronic devices, hidden cameras, and other materials.
The first slot will be at 6.30 am, the second at 8.30 am, the third at 10.30 am, and the fourth at 12.30 pm, in which the physical examination of 2000 candidates will be done in 4 slots every day.
