Chandigarh: Data center upgrade work has started in Haryana to provide better and secure online services to the citizens. Due to this, more than one thousand online services and schemes of the state will remain closed on 25 and 26 January. This shutdown was stopped from 12:01 last night. No online work will be possible till 11:59 pm on Sunday.
According to the information, all government websites including 773 services of Saral Portal, Kaushal Haryana, Family Identity Card Portal, Welfare Services of Labor Department, Har Ghar Grihini Portal, Chirayu Yojana and Ration Card Portal will remain closed for two days. The e-ticketing service of the Transport Department will also be affected, due to which manual tickets will be issued in buses in the old way. Happy card holders will not be able to avail free travel in these two days.
According to Vikas Verma, CSC District Manager of Hisar, this upgrade is being done to provide better, faster and secure online services to the citizens. After two days all portals will start functioning normally.
