Fire broke out in two warehouses in Gurugram: 30 scooties and 4 autos charred, short circuit suspected

A massive fire broke out in two warehouses in front of Maruti Suzuki Company in Sector-18 of Gurugram at midnight, in which more than 30 scooters, four auto rickshaws, and a large number of spare parts were burnt to ashes.

The fire broke out in a foam warehouse at around 1:30 am, which spread rapidly to the nearby warehouse of scooters and spare parts. The flames were so terrible that both warehouses were engulfed in fire within a short time.

On receiving the information, several teams of the fire brigade reached the spot and, after about four hours of effort, the fire was controlled, although by then heavy damage had been done.

Fire extinguished after four hours of effort

Local people tried to control the fire, but the fire had spread a lot. On receiving the information, seven fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. After four hours of hard work, the fire brigade personnel controlled the fire after four hours of hard work.

Initial investigations suggest that the cause of the fire was a short circuit, but investigations are on to ascertain the exact cause.
