Gurugram: In Gurugram, Haryana, a friend killed his friend. The accused had called the friend on the pretext of drinking beer. During this, he stabbed him for talking to his girlfriend. Police arrested the accused within 16 hours. Both the deceased and the accused are minors.
The incident took place on Wednesday night in the Sector 40 police station area of Gurugram. The police received information that the body of a young man was lying outside house number 740. After this, the police reached the spot. The young man was taken to the hospital. He died there. Marks of stabbing with knives were found on the neck and stomach of the young man.
According to Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep, the police were empty-handed in the initial investigation. Neither anything was found with the deceased nor could he be identified. After this, the police took the investigation forward and identified the deceased. The age of the deceased is 16 years. After identification, the police arrested the 15-year-old minor who carried out the murder within 16 hours from Rewari.
During police interrogation, the accused minor revealed that both (one deceased) live in Jharssa, Gurugram. Both of them became friends on Instagram. The deceased youth had been friends with a girl for about one and a half years. For the last few days, that girl had also started talking to him (accused).
The accused knew that the girl who talked to him also talked to his Instagram friend (deceased). Holding a grudge about this, he planned to kill his friend. To execute the murder plan, he bought a knife for Rs. 150 on July 9. On the night of July 10, he called his friend on the pretext of drinking beer and stabbed him to death.
