Gurugram: In Gurugram, police have arrested the main accused in the case of robbery of a mother and son at gunpoint in Madanpuri and have solved the entire case. According to the police, 23-year-old accused Jayant Bhutani, a resident of Shivaji Nagar, is a BSc student and used to work in the sale and purchase of vehicles. Being in debt, the accused targeted the house where he used to visit daily.
The accused, arrested by Gurugram police, had entered a house in Madanpuri in broad daylight on Tuesday and carried out the robbery of a mother and son at gunpoint. The mother of the accused and the victim woman were close friends. Due to this, the accused used to visit the house of the victim’s family.
The victim woman used to wear gold jewellery. The accused had his eyes on the woman’s jewellery. Then, taking advantage of this, the accused entered the woman’s house and started looting. When the woman’s son came to save her, the accused beat up both the mother and son. In which the woman was seriously injured and the accused fled with the woman’s jewellery.
According to ACP Udyog Vihar Naveen Kaushik, the accused had carried out this entire incident by wearing a helmet and a cloth over his mouth. Due to this, the police also had a lot of difficulty catching the accused. The police did not have any clue of any kind. But it is said that no matter how clever the criminal is, the long arms of the law reach him. Similarly, SHO Rajesh of the New Colony police station laid such a trap with his team that the accused got trapped in that trap, and the police arrested him.
