Hailstorm in 50 villages of Hisar, crops destroyed: 35 years old record broken in Adampur, Narnaund and Hansi

The crops have been completely rotted due to hailstorms. Mustard and gram crops have suffered the most damage. Apart from this, vegetable crops have been damaged in the Hansi area. According to the data of the Meteorological Department, 15.6 mm of rain was recorded in Hisar till Friday evening.

The maximum temperature dropped by 6.8 degrees due to rain and the temperature reached 14.5 degrees, while the minimum temperature increased by 3.1 degrees, taking it to 10 degrees. Now there is a possibility of rain in the district on Saturday.

The 35-year-old record of rain in the month of December in Hisar has been broken. 12 to 13 mm of rain was recorded in the district in 24 hours. According to the records of the Meteorological Department, 8 mm of rain was recorded in the month of December in 2017. In the year 1989, 100 mm of rain was recorded in 24 hours on 10 December.
