Karnal: Rewari man dies in accident, 5 injured including women

This family was going from Delhi to Chandigarh.

Today (Friday) at around 4 am, a speeding car suddenly lost control and crashed on National Highway 44 in front of Liberty Factory near Gharaunda in Karnal. The accident was so terrible that the car was blown to pieces. One person in the car died on the spot in the accident, while the driver was seriously injured. Two women and two children in the car were also injured in the accident. This family was going from Delhi to Chandigarh.

The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Pradeep son of Lal Chand, resident of village Balangi of Kosli police station in Rewari. There were six people in the car, including two men, two women and two small children.

According to the information, one person was driving the car and the other person Pradeep was sitting with him in the front seat. The women were in the back seat with their children. As soon as the car reached in front of Liberty Factory, it collided with an unknown vehicle. The collision was so severe that the car was badly damaged and overturned on the road.

The sound of the accident was so loud that people from nearby areas rushed to the spot. Passersby immediately pulled the injured out of the car and informed the police. The seriously injured driver and other injured were immediately taken to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal, where they are undergoing treatment. Pradeep died on the spot in the accident.
